I am 24 years old and I have collected physical cards since I can remember. Ive set up at the National Card Show for the past 10 years. Just to show my experience in cards. This app has been fun for years but what they’re doing now is terrible for the foundation of Topps Bunt. Some of these collectors have dedicated YEARS of their lives to this app and are now banned because Topps has failed to create a marketplace inside of its app for over a decade of the apps existence. If there was no off app sales of cards Topps would be making a quarter of what they’re making now. STOP PENALIZING THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PAID WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT FOR YOUR PRODUCT. THIS IS HORRIBLE.

Made a bunch of changes to the app that made it worse. if you want cards you have to pay and may lock your account with no warning. Also new certification and locking up accounts is ridiculous.

This app has turned into just another way for Topps to pull more money from you. Trading cards is a fundamental part of card collectors, now they make you pay to be certified and Topps administration will monitor trades and remove your access if they do not believe the trade is fair, even though you can trade any card for any card. Just another money grab with Topps making it difficult to get any good cards unless you pay for them.

I have been playing since 2012, this latest silent ban has soured me so much. Years of spending money ends now! Hobbies are easy to drop, new hobbies are very easy to find. I will happily spend my money on other hobbies.

Be carful of this app. Their update requires your account to be certified to use the trade feature. They will ban your account without notice saying you were given a warning but won’t show proof to you that you were given any type of warning. This used to be an incredible app that has been ruined buy higher ups decisions.

Over priced, boring recycled garbage.

Used to be a great app, now it’s nothing but a money grab. Can’t even trade anymore without spending money.

Bunt was super fun up until recent years. Now, it’s a complete money grab any regard to the users. The pull-rates are atrocious and just recently they have arbitrarily locked accounts from trading. I’d like to set a reminder that this app is a game and it’s supposed to be FUN

the app used to be awesome, but now you have to “certify” your account by making an in-app purchase. the odds of packs are terrible. $7 and you have a 1:2 chance at a super rare, not even iconic. they ruined a great thing

Absolutely horrific! If I buy a box of Topps Cards then I own them. I buy Diamonds and purchase packs of cards on here they own them. I spent the money then the should be mine to do with as I please! If I want to sell cards because someone is willing to buy them then that is my choice and my choice alone. I should t have to worry about getting accounts banned because I chose to sell a card to a fellow collector. Topps Bunt stopped getting my money a long time ago and the are starting to lose a whole community of avid collectors with their antics. Beware!

New trading feature is ridiculous

With these new certifications they are ruining the fun in collecting, trading and selling of digital cards. So many accounts have been wrongfully banned it’s ridiculous. They are hypocrites. It’s ok to resell cardboard but if someone wants to sell a digital card they will ban your account even if you’ve spent thousands. Stay far away and don’t spend a dime on this app.

This game used to be fun but it has turned into nothing but a money grab. It is nearly impossible to finish sets without spending money. The latest updates have really hurt this game and the community.

I just can’t help be disappointed by Topps. They put all these resources into a truly amazing app with cool card designs and an addicting ecosystem and then they make mistake after mistake by mistreating their customers. They keep banning so many traders that I love to trade with — people who have undoubtedly spent thousands of dollars on fake baseball cards they don’t even own. They don’t give any warnings and then suspend people permanently without any chance to appeal the suspension. Literally, their customer service says “you’re suspended and can’t appeal”. I feel for the dudes that lost their collections and wasted all their time on this nonsense.

Beginning in April 2025, there has been a change to trading within the app that has caused the enjoyability of the app plummet. The implementation of a token to verify a trader to allow them to be able to trade with other users (not just bunt bot) IN A TRADING CARD game. The very vague terms allow them to remove entire collections from the trading pool for “suspicious” behavior without appeals or warnings. EXTREME buyer beware for any in app purchases going forward unless changes are made.

Since implementing the so called improvements to trading with the verification process, large amounts of good traders have been banned for past warnings and have lost all their cards and money spent. Do not spend money on this app

Money and time wasted. Bunt’s new restrictions are killing the game. This game used to be fun, but not anymore. Beware that they can ban, or severely limit, your account with no warning and you have no recourse. Players beware!

I hadn't logged on since last season so when I signed on yesterday, I noticed there was a bunch of changes made to the app. One in particular is a trade certification feature. If you are not certified, you cannot send trades. Because I hadn't been logged on in the prior 6 months to the update I was not given a certified status. I sent a message to CS last night and was certified a little while later. This morning, I wake up and my certification has been removed with no reason given. Without this certification I can't trade for the cards I need to stay competitive in contests, which is a feature I used almost every day last season. What a disappointment. I will never spent real money on this app again. And I will be uninstalling.

Topps didn’t certify my account due to cross trading. I don’t follow their logic on how that’s a bad thing, but oh well. I guess I will have more free time on my hands now!

Used to love this game. Spent over a year building up my account! Today I logged on and saw that my account is locked and I can’t trade any cards. I made sure to read their rules and am positive I have not broken them. I have reached out to support but they have stopped responding to me, so it’s looking like I’ve lost everything I’ve collected :( They won’t even tell me why. Anyways, if I were you I’d probably stay away from this app, or at least spending any real money in it. They can take it all from you for no reason and they don’t even owe you an explanation. Stop now before you get too invested :(

The new “Certified trader” aspect of the game introduced in the new update has ruined this game. Now uncertified users aren’t able to send trades to other people, so what’s the point of hanging this app if all the fun is taken away? Why can’t we just go back to the old ways of trading any type of cards with other people without worrying of getting flagged, banned, or reported?

Fanatics really did a number on this app. Yikes this is so awful now.

So boring. A real slap in the face to those who spent money on this app over the years. You know the season started right? Maybe hire a staff that follows baseball.

They only sell over priced diamonds and there's nothing to spend them on. What a joke.

I don’t know where else to write this so it’s going here. This app is beyond embarrassing now. I only hope you finally shut it off for good soon. How any company can be this lazy and incompetent is just amazing. You rip people off for fun. You want to know why you’re hemorrhaging users like crazy? Your app is awful now. It’s not new users. It’s not bad traders and scammers. It’s not the multiple accounts. You stopped releasing cards. It’s that simple. Make all the excuses you want. You got lazy and dumb. This app peaked in 2018 and died in 2022 and for some reason you’re leaving the lights on. So keep bribing users, trying to gauge interest. You’re just going to ignore them anyways. Keep adding idiotic features to the app that make it slower. Keep making contests as boring as possible. Keep copy and pasting junk subset cards that people throw away from physical packs. The new baseball season just started and it’s almost like you can’t possibly be bothered to release any cards. It’s end of day Wednesday now and you’ve released one drop since last Friday. Why? Is hitting ctrl-c over and over and over and over too complicated? Just keep doing the bare minimum. Why try when you can just be lazy behind exclusive rights. Pathetic. Time for a giant refund. Thanks.

Topps is to worried about this kind of digital stuff. Panini has a whole app dedicated to trading cards. I was hoping to find that here for Topps. Unfortunately this is a pie in the sky game for kids and has no real option to buy real packs. Underwhelming.

You’ve ruined the app, you’ve put anything good under diamonds or pay. Then you wonder why kids don’t watch or collect baseball cards.

The game is great don’t get me wrong, however I’m not a huge fan of how you can only get diamonds with money. I think a lot of other people probably think the same way but I could be wrong. I’d love to see the developers actually implement that into the game. Other than that, thank you to the developers of Topps Bunt for making such a great game that doesn’t make me spend actual money on cards, but still providing super fun experiences!

I downloaded this app years ago started collecting on it since I heard about it. Collecting cards that I was proud of. For only this season I was shadow banned. Now I’m trying to get my account back for this season I have a feeling very unlikely. I normally buy psychical cards every year from Topps such as the Yankees team sets and the season box but this has left such a bad taste in my mouth I’m just gonna be done collecting forever.

LOVE that the instant trade was added, helps out set collectors without having to wait or rely on other traders. In the past, it’s been a problem where people hold on to duplicates. Bunt is very fun and easy to maneuver, developers constantly add new things to keep it interesting! If you love baseball cards you should give the game a try!

Why does every time I try to trade it kicks me out and for the idea what if you made it so you could sell cards for coins? Please write a response

This game is designed so well with very good cards and such active developers. It seems like every week so many cards have been added to the game which keeps it feeling fresh. This game also has one of the best trade designs out of any games. This games trading feature is designed so well. You see games like Pokémon tcg pocket almost kill there game with how bad their trading is. This game implements trade amazingly though.

Used to have a ball with this app from 2019-2022 but since then Topps have made it impossible to get any decent cards without spending actual money. Grubby Topps digital product to match their grubby paper products. Smh.

Periodical shut downs

I have a brand new iPhone and the app spins when crafting or looking through the cards. I want to love it but it’s getting to be very frustrating.

Waste of time, and money. If they lose their license like they have with NFL, and NHL you’re left with cards worth nothing. You have you spend $100s a month to be competitive, and starting next month if you don’t spend money they can ban you. A lot of people trade between Topps apps and if they look at that as “cheating” they will ban you for that. They hate their customers.

This is my third phone downloading the app on and every time you try to go on the app my phone feels like it’s about to melt I can only keep the app open for a minute at a time. I’ve read a lot of reviews on Reddit with people saying the same thing. The developers really need to get on this. Also read quite a few people said they have posted this same complaint on here and days later thier review was removed. Do better developers!

Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend! A little high prices but otherwise awesome!

Collecting has gotten very boring now. The release of new cards while people are mid day working while the eagles accounts gorge on the release all anyone else can do is spend money to get and decent pulls. Haven’t really gotten on but every now and then I’ll see if anything has changed.

Regular tokens no longer buy anything serious. It’s completely pay to play. You have to pay to rip a ridiculous amount of packs to get any set rewards. The UI has also gotten worse. Sadly, the app has peaked and I can’t spend any more $$ keeping up with all the random, worthless drops.

Absolutely amazing game for sports card collectors. Definitely a fun budget way to open packs and have fun without spending tons of money!!

No more packs available for the free users, all diamonds from now on! You must spend real money on cards you’ll never own! Topps won’t allow you to sell your digital cards because they aren’t yours. What a deal! Don’t reply to me Topps, I don’t care what you have to say. Your done.

The Odds are rigged against you. I thought I would give it a try again after deleting the app for the same reason yet again. A one in five chance to get a Rare Card and every time a Rare Card never shows up or is pulled. This App is worse than buying physical Cards. All they want is Money.

This is the best game ever

It used to be this app was very generous and would give you coins to make purchasing packs affordable. You could even earn coins to use for pack purchases, now it’s all about purchasing diamonds to do anything. A disappointing money grab by a formerly great app.

Please add auctions, but still 5 star game!

App used to be fun. Now a majority of the sets are released with a limited number of packs you can buy with the free coins that just incentivize having to pay really money to not miss out on them after they sell out quickly.
